Is solar actually worth it on my roof?
Depends on your roof, your shading and how you use power. We'll look at all three and give you straight numbers on what you'd save and when it pays off. If it's not worth it for your place, we'll tell you that too.
Will I still have power at night or in a blackout?
A standard grid-tied system uses the grid at night and pulls from it in a blackout, so you're never left without power. If you want backup through an outage, that needs a battery. We'll set the system up battery-ready so you can add one later.
Do you do the whole job, or just the electrical bit?
The whole job. The roof side and the electrical side are one install and we do both, so there's no salesman who vanishes after the deposit and no second contractor to chase.
Can I add solar to a system I've already got?
Usually, yes. Tell us what you've got on the form and we'll check whether it can be extended or whether you're better starting fresh.
