Can I stay in the house while you rewire?
Usually, yes. We stage the work so you keep power where we can, and we plan the runs to keep the mess down. For a full rewire there'll be some disruption, but we work around you and tell you up front what to expect room by room.
Will you wreck my walls?
We fish wire through cavities and under floors wherever we can, so we avoid ripping the gib off unless there's no other way. The character of the house is half the reason you own it, and we treat it that way.
What if there's asbestos?
Old homes can have it in the linings. We know what to look for and we don't disturb it blind. If we hit it, we stop and get it handled properly before we carry on. Nobody's safety gets gambled to save a day.
Do I have to rewire the whole house at once?
No. We can rewire the lot, or just the part you're renovating and update the rest while access is good. Your call, and we'll tell you honestly what's worth doing now.
